The Green "V" Groove Disc is a 2" (50mm) diameter flat steel disc coated with a heat infused tungsten carbide SSG grit. The Green "V" groove disc was designed to allow you to use both the face and the edge of the disc. When used on its face it becomes an abrasive disc that has a moderate aggressiveness. When used on its side the disc makes plunging or straight in cuts and is used for things such as scribing the hoof wall as a part of a hoof resection, cleaning out sand cracks and white line. All of our abrasive discs are designed to eliminate heat buildup on the hoof.
